Tech transfers for good
This story about the USC Stevens Center for Innovation gives me hope. Usually, tech transfer and university tech licensing centers are only focused on getting a commercial return on innovation. The changes at USC imply that they will also be looking for a social return. Given the energy and creativity of college students, this would be a good thing.
