My struggle is...I agree with this, wholeheartedly. My struggle is this - how can the sector put the focus on managing to outcomes (as it should), when the donating public's is determined to focus elsewhere; on admin cost, executive salaries, output, etc. My experience has been that it's not enough to simply get the info out about the importance of outcomes. People are not interested, not motivated to change their focus. How can we reach them? As the funders, they have immense power over what kind of activity gets support.
