Heard a great "commons related" story on local public radio this morning - am about to post link to the p2173 Tumblr account. Check it out. Would love to see reading list for your class, if you can share it.

Thanks!
LucyLucy Bernholzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09253941214286179394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3614581.post-37795846918652707942011-01-28T08:18:58.721-08:002011-01-28T08:18:58.721-08:00Have you read Common as Air by Lewis Hyde? I'm currently reading it and leading a discussion on it for a grad school class so I returned to this post to think about how his theories fit into other scenarios of the blurring lines of public and private that are happening right now. It's a very interesting book analyzing the support of the founding fathers for the creative commons. Our society now views IP as a right vs. how it used to be perceived as a privilege. What a shift in thought. I'm looking forward to reading the two books you talk about here.LeahLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00912661280415461567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3614581.post-91537306906351057552011-01-05T15:41:52.517-08:002011-01-05T15:41:52.517-08:00Thanks for recommending these, Lucy.
