Let us hope it is not a buzzword - philanthropizza

Alternative definition of philanthropizza - that which must be provided to volunteers at all meetings...

Then there's this place: http://www.philanthropistboutique.com/index.html

from San Francisco magazine:

FASHION
Alms for apparel

When it comes to creating a great boutique, Jessica Moment, owner of Sacramento Street’s new Philanthropist, thinks it’s all about the dressing. Yes, the salad kind. Moment was pushing a shopping cart through the aisles of Whole Foods when inspiration struck—thanks to a bottle of charity-focused Newman’s Own. “There was nothing like that brand for fashion,” explains the good-hearted style maven. A quick phone call to BFF and cofounder Sally Fowler (both are former Gappers), and Philanthropist was set in motion.

In the spirit of Blue Eyes’ line of prepared foods, the Pre sidio Heights shop donates all proceeds to local nonprofits. Each season, as new collections arrive, a different beneficiary is chosen (first up is family shelter Raphael House, paired with Phil anthropist’s fall designs). This boutique doesn’t look like a charity case, though: Kendall Wilkinson Design created the interior, complete with chinoiserie wall paper, vintage chandeliers, and a champagne bar. Plus, the space is stocked with pulse-raising lines like Richard Chai, Doo.ri, Zac Posen, Tom Binns, and Rag & Bone. Now you can truly wear your heart on your sleeve.—Robin Wilkey 3571 Sacramento St., S.F., philanthropistboutique.com
